From downtown area, take a 22 bus.
From the Central Bus Station, the 15 bus goes right there (check the hours though!).
Enter the campus through the main gate and follow the road straight down. When you get to the bottom, follow the road as it turns right - take it to the end. On your left you will see stairs that go down into the big gym building.
"Rene Cassin" Gym
-See Map Below.
-Located on 1 Karl Netter Street, Jerusalem.
-options to get there: 25 or 45 bus then a 3 min walk. or the Light Rail to Shimon Hatzadik and then a 3-5 min walk.
-enter through the gate, follow the road to the back and you'll see stairs heading down, head all the way down to the bottom and follow the path, the door to the gym will be on your right.
for Moovit: תיכון פולינסקי, ירושלים
For Google Maps/Waze: Polinski high school
(See Map Below)
Located at the end of Inbar Lederman street in the Kiryat Yovel neighborhood, in the "Ir Ganim" area of parks and schools - this street runs along a very long park and playground - follow it all the way to the end, the school is on your right.
Enter the gate, and follow the parking lot in and to the right, and go on a few feet to the second parking area - the gym building is a separate building, at the second parking area.
Note: Egged has made many bus route changes recently - please double-check that these bus routes are current before relying on them!
Bus 23 and 13a are the best, they stop right there.
Bus 12 and 17 stop nearby, around the corner. And bus 20 is also in the area, though a bit further away.
Buses 10, 35 and 42 stop at the Uruguay street storefronts area ("mercaz mischari"). From there, you can walk down (or cut through an alley) to Stern St., and then cut through toward Ir Ganim - you'll have to either ask someone or be a bit skilled at following the map, below.
Buses 2 and 19 go through Kiryat Yovel. Basically, they run along the top of the neighborhood, and it's a bit of a walk from there, so give yourself plenty of time! Follow the "by car" directions.
In Kiryat Yovel, turn down Chile street (the "mifletzet" / "monster" slide playground), go down the hill and make your third left onto Janusz Korczak (pronounced "Yanush Korchak") Street, then make a right onto Ringelblum Street. Ringelblum goes around a very big park, and becomes Inbar Lederman Street. Follow it all the way to the end, the school is on your right.
Enter the gate, and follow the parking lot in and to the right, and go on to the second parking area - the gym building is a separate building, at the second parking area.
- "Denmark" Gym
See map, below.
Located on Eliezer Hagadol street. (It's around the corner from Eretz Hatzvi Yeshiva, and a couple of blocks away from the Chavat Hanoar gym.)
If you're going down Eliezer Hagadol street, after the first building, make a right into the driveway/small street.
Follow that street/driveway as it bears left, down to the bottom (i.e. don't enter the school parking lot).
You'll see "Beit Hoffman" in front of you, and the gym building on your right -
BTW, it's very easy to get from "Chavat Hanoar" to "Demark". When you get to the "Chavat Hanoar" traffic circle (with the entrance to "Chavat Hanoar" on your right), just continue straight, go through the light, and you're on Eliezer Hagadol - then follow the instructions above.
By bus - Note: Egged has made many bus route changes recently - please double-check that these bus routes are current before relying on them!
- Using the 18 bus from downtown: Ride through Emek Refa'im, which becomes Yochanan Ben Zakai street. The bus turns left onto Yossi Ben Yoezer street, and continues a few blocks. Get off at the traffic circle at the bottom of Eliezer Hagadol street. Walk up Eliezer Hagadol. Enter the parking lot on your left, which leads to the gym. The entrance is on the far side.
- Using the 15, from Gan Sacher right near Kraft, you can definitely get to "Chavat Hanoar" (see above about getting from there to "Denmark"),and there's even one stop closer, near the top of Eliezer Hagadol.
- Using the 77 or 14 bus: Ride through Emek Refa'im street, which becomes Yochanan Ben Zakai street. Get off at the top of Eliezer Hagadol street (the "Denmark" School). then follow the instructions above for Eliezer Hagadol street.
- Using the 10 bus, you can probably get really close - but good luck understanding Egged's new map, we sure couldn't!
